Annalisa has recently received several awards for her contributions in the field of AI, big data, and cancer research, including an award from the Italian Embassy and the University of Cambridge. <br/> Annalisa is currently leading various research projects funded by BBSRC and EPSRC, developing AI models for healthcare applications and bioprocessing optimisation in collaboration with industrial partners.
Biography
It is estimated that 3.24 million new cancer cases and 1.66 million cancer deaths will be registered across Europe in 2024, and 40,800 of these deaths are from brain and central nervous system (CNS) cancers.
