Net4Brain: Strength in Diversity and Shared Purpose
In this issue, we celebrate our recent milestones from the high-energy ECR meeting to our upcoming event in Istanbul. As we embrace the first quarter of 2026, our network stands stronger and more vibrant than ever. This month, we reflect on two pivotal dates: World Cancer Day (February 4th) and the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (February 11th). These are not just dates on a calendar; they are the heart of why we do what we do. Our mission to tackle brain cancer is a global challenge that requires every perspective.
Net4Brain: A Comprehensive Network Against Brain Cancer
As we wrap up the first half of 2026, our comprehensive European network against brain cancer stands more united, visible, and vibrant than ever. This special issue marks a historic transition from reflection to action, highlighting the success of our 3rd Annual Meeting in Istanbul where over 200 attendees from 38+ countries converged to foster deep multidisciplinary networking. We reflect on key achievements from our ECR Forum to breakthroughs in research, preview our upcoming training initiatives for late 2026, introduce our creative new 'Tea Time with Net4Brain' bi-weekly interview column, and celebrate our ongoing Lab Photo Challenge.
Net4Brain: A Year of Progress & Upcoming Opportunities
The COST Action concludes 2025, celebrates strengthened collaboration against brain cancer. Achievements include launching the YRG and Creative Group, boosting outreach via Instagram/LinkedIn, and a bilateral project between Türkiye and Slovenia. In 2026, join us for the Third Annual Meeting (June 1–3) in Istanbul, which includes an ECR In-Person Event. Don't forget the PhD Student Online Meeting on December 9th. Grant applications are open for STSMs, VMs, ITC, Dissemination, and YRI Conference Grants. Thank you for your continued contribution!
