Action Objectives

Our strategic goals for advancing brain cancer research across Europe

1

Non-Invasive Biomarkers in Brain Cancer

Developing and validating biomarkers for early detection, prognosis, and recurrence in pediatric and adult brain cancer.

2

Advanced Preclinical Models for Brain Cancer Pathogenesis

Developing a 3-tier strategy using cell culture, 3D bio-systems (organoids, bioprinting), and in vivo models to study brain cancer pathogenesis.

3

Single-Cell Approaches for Tumor Profiling and Stratification

Advancing tumor profiling and patient stratification with single-cell technologies, focusing on gene dysregulation patterns and dynamic glioblastoma stem cell transitions for therapeutic interventions.

4

Multimodal Omics Integration and Pan-European Brain Cancer Platform

Developing integrative omics approaches, mathematical models for RT optimization, and a pan-European brain cancer database and biobank to advance research and clinical practice.

5

Clinical-Driven Advances in Radiotherapy for Brain Cancer

Developing novel radiotherapy approaches and recommendations, guided by clinical expertise to maximize patient outcomes and clinical impact.

6

Innovative Dissemination and Stakeholder Engagement

Creating novel methods to disseminate research outcomes and engage stakeholders across science networks, clinicians, patients, policymakers, industry, and the public.
